We loved staying here. The beach is literally right out the back door. The water was very warm, and it felt really private as well.
The house had lots of space for our big family. We loved the kitchen, and how stocked it was with pots, pans and things of that nature for our convenience. There was also extra towels, toiletries, blankets and a few board games for the kids to play.
The location was also great. It wasn't busy like the city. It was very calm and peaceful. There was multiple grocery stores, and lots of food trucks to eat at. Everyone was very friendly that we ran into, and we always felt like we had something to do when we weren't in the water or in the house.
The house was pretty warm when we first arrived, but we were able to cool it down pretty quickly. We left windows open, and they let in a nice ocean breeze. There is also an AC unit in every room as well as ceiling fans in the main area.
Overall the house exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back.

What an amazing place to vacation for the week. We cannot say enough about our stay at Mahakea Beach house. The beach right in your back yard and sunrises and sunsets to die for. We were a party of 6 adults and 3 babies and we had more than enough room. Large kitchen and living area. Enough parking for our 3 rental cars. Loved the entrance having a gate for extra privacy. Will definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time while staying at the Mahakea beach house. We had to quarantine for the first 14 days which was hard because we were directly on the beach.
After quarantine, we swam, boogie boarded and even surfed multiple times each day. The sunrises are amazing and we enjoyed watching the crab work each morning moving sand.
We enjoyed many of the north shore attractions while they were open before they were closed for a second round of quaratine.
Would definately recommend the Polynesian Culture Center and Skydive Hawaii.
Our family of 7 had a relaxing and memorable experience with plenty of room to spread out.

Aloha, we had an amazing time here. We actually grew up on the islands and now are located in Wisconsin. After 8 years we got to come back together to home. There were 10 us us staying here on top of some ohana staying over some nights. We came home to have my daughters 4th birthday which was amazing. Then we also had a service for my father in law. We had spread half of his ashes at Kahana beach where he spent a lot of his life growing up. Beautiful service. We got to meet brother Harvey and brother Dusty who helps maintain the property. Amazing guys.
We hope to come back to this beach house because our kids loved going to the leach whenever they pleased. The sunrises are beautiful. So many memories were made here at this house.

I first visited this property as a guest to a wedding a couple of years ago. It impressed so much, that we decided to hold a retreat here in mid-September and cannot say enough good things about this property and location! Additionally, the property manager and caretaker were responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get out of the city and enjoy some relaxing time with the family.

50th anniversary family celebration
We loved the place and the whole experience. The property manager regularly came by and checked on things. He also gave us great insight on the area and how to treat the blue jelly fish stings we encountered the next day.
He was great! We tried to be respectful and careful in using the home and kitchen items and appreciate the owners generosity. We loved the large doors and cross breeze they provided and appreciated the bedroom air conditioners. Thank you for making our family's dream of time together in Hawaii and reality..
We had a family of 13 and it was great. The yard and beach for the kids was great. The house was as advertised which sutured us perfectly. Will go again.

What a fantastic vacation! This has got to be one of Hawaii's best beach front vacation getaways with a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear water. The huge backyard is perfect for outdoor fun. The home is laid out nicely and the kitchen well-equipped. All five bedrooms are air conditioned and very comfortable. The spacious living room and large dining table was more than enough for our family of eleven to play evening games together.
Needless to say we enjoyed our weekend and have already booked our stay for next summer.
This beach house was amazing and perfect for my family. The house in itself was just the right size. The yard was super huge and great for camping out. We will definitely rent this house again!

Jimmy and Dusty were always very helpful, even providing whatever ceremony arch we wanted. The house was also very clean.
This is an amazing place for a big family just to stay for vacation in Oahu or for any event. The backyard is so big that we had an area to set up the chairs for the ceremony and another area to set up a big tent for the reception.
The best of this house is that it is right on the beach. It is one of the most unknown beaches in Oahu. If you are looking for being away from the crowded Waikiki and live a real Hawaii experience, this house is perfect.
This is a place that we really recommend to everyone coming to Oahu. We'll repeat!!
Amazing property! We had our wedding at this property and everything was beyond what we had hoped for. We stayed in this house with a few family members and it had a great amount of space for sleeping and visiting, and the kitchen was excellent for our buffet style rehearsal dinner. We had other family members staying in two other houses next to this one, and it was great to be able to have everyone meet up at whatever property with just a brief, beautiful walk. Jimmy was awesome with assisting us the entire time that we were planning our trip and wedding whenever we had any questions or needed anything. Dusty was great, too, but we were having so much fun and enjoying every bit of our stay that we did not need him very much 🙂 With the spacious house, beautiful large backyard, and absolutely gorgeous, to-die-for private beach just steps away, this property will not disappoint!

Fantastic house and grounds. It has been everything we had envisioned. From family meal prep in the kitchen and KP also, 12 of us had a great 10 days. Lots of beach time and camp fires
The house, our own secluded beach, the beautiful sunrises, the huge yard blended to provide the perfect location to bring our family and friends together to celebrate our anniversary. The back yard provided an ideal venue to feed our guests and provide entertainment for our event. Both young and old enjoyed the location and convenience to the Polynesian Cultural Center, grocery store, and the activities of the North Shore of Oahu.
